The R. Blitzer Gallery is the consummate art gallery located on the west side of Santa Cruz, California in a renovated warehouse space that for years made Wrigley Gum.
Next to the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary, Natural Bridges State Park and the U C Santa Cruz marine science campus, the gallery is the ideal location to attract art lovers from the local community as well as the San Francisco Bay , Silicon Valley and Monterey Peninsula.
The Gallery, with 19 foot ceilings and natural light, permanently features the bronze sculpture and paintings of owner Robert Blitzer. Themed shows with visiting artists are scheduled on a regular basis and the immense space is ideal for art receptions, theater groups, poetry readings and other special events.
