Jody Garsia

Scrub Jay
I first tried watercolors when I was backpacking in the Sierras and wanted to capture the feeling and beauty of the mountains. I took a break for many years and after retiring from my practice as a landscape architect, I returned to watercolors. Now, painting and sketching help me slow down; to look at things more carefully and be more present in the moment.
