In early November, Santa Cruz Watercolor Society member Laura C. and
13 other students took a 3-day workshop at the Santa Cruz Art League
with artist Kathleen Alexander who is known for her dramatic and
luminous tropical florals. Kathleen’s work has been featured in Splash
Magazine. Laura said the class was very helpful in advancing
watercolor technique through the use of new materials and processes.
