Studios are open from 11-5 PM Aimée’s studio is located at 229 Fridley Santa Cruz (just off Bay St.) Carol Riddle will be exhibiting nearby (680 Meder St. Santa Cruz), so take the opportunity to visit both.
Aimée’s 2012 Open Studio will include both old works and new of her watercolors, collages and books. (Aimée is very proud of her Arakawa hanging system and Frame Circus’s light weight UV protected plexiglass framing.) The 2012 paintings heavily feature Zephyrine des Lilas and also reflect Aimée’s preoccupation with Louisiana and whimsy.
