My artistic journey began on a road trip to Utah, where I became captivated by the beauty of Delicate Arch and the beautiful Utah landscape. That moment sparked a lifelong passion for painting, evolving into an exploration of watercolor, acrylic, collage, cold wax, oil, graphite, and charcoal—a true cacophony of fine art.
I choose mediums to match the subjects: watercolor for delicate florals, oil and cold wax for rich textures and bold abstracts. My semi-abstracts begin as expressive gestures, but like seeing shapes in clouds, they transform into something deeper.
In her Santa Cruz home studio, Liquid Color, I find inspiration in the dramatic northern coastline, surrounded by my Maine Coons, Tigger and Roo and Dora, The Queen Feline. Living the dream as a full-time artist, embracing endless experimentation, creativity, and joy.
Keeping the brushes wet,
Teresa
